January 16th, 2015

What's up everybody...first entry of 2015, hope the year is off to a phenomenal start for all of you out there!

In case you missed the update from Wednesday, it was a pretty special night. Our starting backcourt of John Schoof, Pee-Wee Gardner, and Jesse Reed (Left to Right above), got a chance to meet one of the greatest baseball players of all time, Cal Ripken Jr who is known as the "Iron Man" for his unbelievable streak of 2,632 games played. The angle is that John, Jesse, and Pee-Wee are currently 1-2-3 in the NCAA in Average Minutes per game, so are the NCAA's "Iron Men" meeting the original "Iron Man"...pretty cool stuff!

Mr. Ripken was at Bender for a great game as we beat Lehigh at the buzzer 62-59 which has been a trend for us being really fortunate to win close games including a Double-OT thriller vs Colgate 71-69!

We're now 3-1 since the start of 2015 and 10-7 overall with a 5-0 record at home! Next up we have two tough games against very talented Lafayette and Boston University teams on the road tomorrow and Wednesday.

If you haven't seen it yet, check out Pee-Wee's Buzzer Beater & Cal Ripken Jr fist bump below...GO EAGLES!! - NCB
