What's up everybody! Haven't had a Blog entry since way back in July, it was definitely a very busy Summer and it absolutely flew by.

Had to get back on the Blog since we're now 24 hours away from the official start of practice tomorrow and the season is right around the corner with our first game being November 14th, and our first scrimmage less than a month away on November 1st.

The month of July was a blur with the Evaluation period which is our busiest time of the year for recruiting. I made trips to Indianapolis, St. Louis, Augusta, Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Toronto and saw some very talented and exciting players along the way.

August was a time to spend some time with the family, and also get all of our players settled in on campus and ready for school. Last month we announced our incoming recruiting class and these 4 guys are all young men that we're extremely excited about and were excellent additions to our program!

We have already received 3 verbal commitments for the 2015 class as well from young men that we're very high on and excited about as well! (As per NCAA rules, can't say more than that for now)

Now the time is finally here to start practice and get ready for the season. We have a veteran team that returns all our key guys except Tony Wroblicky who is now playing for Telekom Baskets Bonn in Germany. We are definitely excited about the potential for this group and are looking forward to getting to work preparing for our season opener on Nov 14th at Temple for the Coaches vs Cancer.

It's great to have all the guys back and having the season right around the corner is very exciting for all of us. For all our fans and media, we'll have a Chalk Talk & Open Practice on Oct 18th for everyone to get their first look at our 2014-15 AU Eagles team!

Yesterday was picture day...check out our International contingent (below) representing Serbia (Vasic), Nigeria (Yiljep), Germany (Tolksdorf), Greeece (Maragkos), & Canada (Paquin)!
